This year Weber Shandwick Seattle is thrilled to partner with Four Peaks, a monthly current affairs show created in partnership with the University of Washington’s Master of Communication in Digital Media (UW MCDM) program and UWTV. Episodes tap into the Pacific Northwest’s rich network of experts and visionaries in innovation, community, entrepreneurship and entertainment who are also inspired storytellers. With Weber Shandwick’s key focus on collaboration, engagement and storytelling, we are excited about promoting and bringing to life the show guests’ unique stories. We hope these stories will trigger interesting and lively discussion with the broader community as Seattle fosters and drives progress around innovation, entrepreneurship, community, entertainment and even creativity.

Weber Shandwick Seattle’s relationship with the University of Washington and MCDM is not new. We’ve advised and supported its development since 2008. Leadership and staff have lectured and presented to MCDM students and we’ve hosted students at our office to provide exposure and a better understanding of marketing communications and public relations in action. We’ve also been motivated by MCDM events, learning from luminaries such as Eric Liu, former Bill Clinton speechwriter and founder of the Guiding Lights Network, award-winning director Lynne Shelton and independent director, writer and producer Matt Vancil.

From nail salon entrepreneurs to new media and arts activists and tech trade writers, Four Peaks host Hanson Hosein will uncover a wealth of local ingenuity this season.
