A big congrats to two Weber Shandwick teams who shined at the PRWeek Awards last night in New York City, where more than 1,000 PR professionals gathered to honor the phenomenal work done in 2011. As the importance of social and digital media grows, Weber Shandwick has been on the front edge of innovation, as results from last night’s event showed. Weber took home the 2011 “PR Innovation of the Year” award for FireBell, a social media crisis simulator. As well, Weber took the “Best Use of Social Media/Digital” award. A stellar showing at the biggest industry event of the year.
Special shout outs go to Seattle’s Mark Mohammadpour, Katie Traut, Elaine Norton, Karissa Sams and Wade Rockett for their contributions to the award-winning Social Media/Digital campaign. You can read more about the event and our honors in Weber Shandwick’s official press release.
Go Team Weber!
