“Two Minutes With” is Weber Shandwick Seattle’s employee spotlight series that provides professional and personal insight into our rock star team. Enjoy!
You are a true Weber Shandwick Seattle veteran. How long have you been with the agency?
This will be my 13th year.
That’s a long time! What has kept you around all these years?
Smart people I trust and respect; the opportunity to diversify and work with a wide range of clients, including my most recent role in our Social Impact practice; the vast network and ability to partner with colleagues around the world on global campaigns; leadership that values integrity, creativity and humor. Also an amazing selection of soda in the fridge.
When you aren’t putting in time for your clients and account teams here at the office, how do you like to spend your free time?
Playing with my daughter and hanging out with family, often in or around the Phinneywood area.
Is there anything that people would be surprised to learn about you?
I have a long-running addiction to the show Survivor. I like to think I will win it someday. However as my husband pointed out after the first time he took me camping, realistically I would probably be the first person voted off.
You have a three-year-old named Rose. What is the funniest thing she has done or said lately?
She’s in a fun new phase of testing boundaries, always asking “Am I naughty?” after she does something she knows she shouldn’t. Her favorite morning ritual right now is to ask for both milk and OJ, dip her toast in them as she eats, then pour them both out all over her plate when she’s done. You would think I would learn to take the drinks away, but alas, at this point I’m waiting to see how long it can possibly continue.
