Weber Shandwick’s North America and Madrid teams collaborated to support the efforts of Ingeteam, a renewable energy engineering and manufacturing company based in Spain at WindPower 2010. Hosted by the American Wind Energy Association, in Dallas, Texas, the conference & exhibition is the world’s largest annual wind power event, drawing keynote speakers George W. Bush and Jason Alexander.
Weber Shandwick’s Seattle, Madrid and Dallas offices collaboratively worked to announce Ingeteam’s new Wind Power Electric and Electronic Systems manufacturing plant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We invited media to the unveiling event, set up Ingeteam’s U.S. CEO with key influencers for 1:1 briefings and coordinated with the City of Milwaukee’s Planning Commissioner for additional interviews. The announcement was covered by key trade publications such as SmartPlanet and Greentechmedia as well as business press like Reuters.
The clients were pleased and it was a great experience to work with our Weber Shandwick Madrid team.
