Here at Weber Shandwick Seattle, we believe in having a strong work/life/fun balance. And sometimes, we get all three in one grandiose, geeky evening of ping pong, foosball, dodgeball and hanging out with our techiest Seattle friends — evenings like yesterday, when Natalie and I broke out our hoverboards (okay, not really) and headed over to the CenturyLink Event Center for the 2016 GeekWire Bash.
Now, you might be asking whether geeks really know how to party.
The answer: Absolutely. Have you seen these hats?
Still not convinced? How many chances do you get in your life to try sumo wrestling?

With some of the biggest names in the Seattle tech industry on-hand for the event, we also had the opportunity to make the rounds and learn more about the technologies of tomorrow – from new cloud-based calling and messaging platforms to SEO optimization and collaborative enterprise tools. We even saw some awesome gaming innovations — not to mention a few local sports celebrities:
Not pictured: former Husky, Supersonics and NBA Jam legend Detlef Schrempf, and Sounders FC’s Stephan Frei and Nate Sturgis.
In all, it was a great opportunity to meet some of the leaders who are driving Seattle’s technology future. Want to learn more about the event and our friends at GeekWire? Check out their event recap here!
