Weber Shandwick Seattle is proud to announce the newest member of our office’s executive leadership team, and the backbone of our burgeoning healthcare practice: Rose Berg.
Rose is a Seattle native with a passion for advocacy in health and public affairs, and a professional network that keeps her closely connected to the community. She has served organizations such as Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Institute, Pacific Health Summit, and Public Health of Seattle King County, as well as Partners for Our Children and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation — she brings incredible experience that our staff is eager to leverage and learn from.
Fun facts about Rose:
- As a University of Washington alumni, she got her start in PR in the college newsroom covering the Mt. St. Helens eruption. Politics and policy was in her blood early, starting as a state senate page in junior high school.
- Her loving, yet high maintenance golden retriever Axel insists that she walk him along the beach every morning before taking the ferry into work.
- She once drove through the coast of Mexico with her 18-year-old daughter to find an obscure tourist retreat. They made it there and back safely, but the adventure will go down in the history books.
- Best advice she’s ever received? To always look for the good in people. And to always say “thank you.
We look forward to introducing you to Rose soon!
